Mrs. Sophia B. Pederson Passes in Puyallup

PUYALLUP  Funeral services are being arranged Tuesday for Mrs. Sophia Belle Pederson, 76, who died at the family home at North Puyallup, Monday.  She was a native of California, coming to Washington 63 years ago, and moving to Puyallup from Ellensburg in 1909.  She was a Lutheran. 

Surviving are her husband, Ted; four sons, John, A. B. and T. R. Hanson of Puyallup, and Charles Hanson of Ellensburg; seven daughters, Mrs. Bertha Taylor of Ellensburg, Mrs. Ella Stores and Mrs. Narcissus Hartwick of Seattle, Mrs. Mary McKnight, Mrs. Emma Smith and Grace Palo of Tacoma, and Ora Hanson of Puyallup; 25 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Narcissus Needham of Ellensburg; Mrs. Nell Thompson of Seattle and Mrs. Mary Miner in Oregon.  Wrigley and Clements will announce arrangements."
