Born in Holthuserheide. Died in Perry "Twp., Lincoln Co., SD.

I have both Perry Twp. & Lennox as place of death. Individuals from
SD seem to be hesitant to refer to townships. Ofter, the nearest
village where their post office is located is erroneously used as the
place of the event when, in reality, the event took place outside the
city limits on a farm in a township. Given that state of affairs,
whenever there is a conflict betwixt a village & a township for the
location where an event took place, I usually assume the township is
more likely be the location of the event than the town where the post
office is located. - D.A. Navorska - 12 Jan MMIII

John Ben Kuiper

Information provided by David Allen Navorska:
John Ben Kuper (Kuiper)

Source: Katherine Johnson letter 6Ap1995 cites Annie Kande for name.

Katherine Johnson writes, "...have been in contact with an Annie Kande
whose father was John Ben Kuper (Kuiper) whose father was Jan Jan
Kuiper and Grietje Berends Braak. She is 95 and quite sharp...."

This John Ben Kuper might be the same man as Berend Kuiper (b.1834),
but the age makes the possibility a stretch, especially, since the 2nd
& last known wife of Berend Kuiper, Antje Wessels married him in 1865.
Antje would have been in her 50's when Annie was born circa 1900. -
