Carl Meyer gives dob = 14 Sep 1872

Data from conversations with Carl Meyer n矃arl Meijer, son of WWM &
TAM.

Trintje died of skin cancer which spread into her eyes and blinded
her. She prayed that she might be able to see one more time that she
might read the Bible. She was able to do so.

Her nephew, Jan Holthius, remembers her letting white sand pour
through her fingers as she let the sand form the bars of music. In
the corners of the room, she would make music symbols such as the
treble cleft sign. The house had a dirt floor on the ground level.

She would rise at 4 a.m. to prepare breakfast & warm the wooden shoes
on the stove so that they would be warm for the children.
