Agnetta Larson Chambers Meyer

Agnetta Larson (1830 - 1911), a native of Norway was born on November 15, 1830 (1834 has been reported, also).

Agnetta Larson came to the Pacific Northwest apparently through a relationship to the Andrew Byrd family. Andrew Byrd was the builder of the dam that created Steilacoom Lake and supplied water power for Byrd's mills and slaughter house near Byrd Road, now known as Steilacoom Boulevard.

Agnette Larson married Thomas McCutcheon Chambers in 1853.  Their children were Robert Larson, Margaret Ann, Latitia and William McCutcheon Chambers.  Thomas died in 1876.

1854 Pierce County census indicates that Agnetta came from Richland, Wisconsin.

Agnetta Larson Chambers married Frederick Meyer in 1881.

Agnetta died December 24, 1911.
